Simulive

Simulive mitigates any live production risks by using pre-recorded content, played out on a specific time and date as if it were a live event. All attendees joining a Simulive session will be watching your pre-recorded content at the same time, so their participation in the session chat will be fully in sync with your content.

Hybrid online and in venue

A 2 day hybrid event from London, with virtual attendees joining from across the globe. A branded and bespoke platform featuring user led viewing, agenda, speakers, sponsors, media and networking rooms. Sponsor ROI with individual pages with downloadable content and embedded videos, along with a unique audio spatial video chat for networking. On demand available post event.

Creating The Future

Virtual event hosted from live studio

A UK tech and future focused virtual conference and seminar to engage with customers to build brand value with impactful imagery and branding. Live streamed from a studio hub, with live speakers brought in remotely from across the globe. An on demand library was made accessible post event.

Virtual Event streamed to multiple channels

A council and gov campaign to increase the uptake of the Covid vaccination within communities within Westminster Council. Live streamed to YouTube, Facebook and via the online platform with no barriers to entry. A live Q&A from participants from all 3 channels.

Making a Positive Impact

Virtual event hosted from live studio

A 2 day virtual conference featuring top level speakers both in studio from Jersey and remotely using 'remote packs' sent to speakers homes in the UK that included laptops, lighting and remote control. Required very specific branding to replicate the original website.

Defence Space 2020

Virtual Event

In the midst of covid, a fully virtual 2 day event with speakers joining from across the world from different time zones on a bespoke 'mini-site' platform. Required speaker pre-checks and onboarding. Embedded within the event was a quick fire pitch session from Australia to Hawaii. Strong focus on branding and sponsor/participant engagement.

Virtual World 'Mini Metaverse'

A unique audio-spatial video chat placed in 2D spaces online. Users can move themselves around the space to gather in groups and chat on video in real time. Perfect for building copies of existing places, or creating a whole new space or world to engage with.

Benefits of Hybrid & Virtual Events

Virtual and Hybrid Events allows attendees to participate remotely using their computer or mobile device.  Benefits of hosting a virtual event, or upgrading your physical event to hybrid include:

  1. Wider reach: Virtual events can be accessed by anyone with an internet connection, which means that you can reach a larger worldwide audience than you would with an in-person event.

  2. Cost savings: Virtual events eliminate the need for additional travel, accommodation, and venue expenses, which can greatly reduce the overall cost of the event.

  3. Flexibility: Virtual events can be recorded and made available for later viewing, which allows attendees who couldn't make the live event to catch up at a later date.

  4. Time-saving: With virtual events, attendees can participate from the comfort of their own home or office, saving them time and travel expenses.

  5. Increased Engagement: Virtual and Hybrid events can provide interactive features like live polls, Q&A sessions, and chat rooms that can increase engagement and audience participation.

  6. Environmental friendly: Virtual events can reduce the carbon footprint of an event, as it eliminates the need for travel and accommodation, which can have a significant environmental impact.

  7. Increased accessibility: Virtual events can provide increased accessibility to attendees that may have made it difficult for them to attend an in-person event. Live transcriptions and translating can also be added for further accessibility.

Case Study
Defence Space - Air & Space Power Association

Virtual & Hybrid Event

OBJECTIVES:

To bring my expertise in creating interactive, technology-driven, and branded hybrid event mini-site for a previously in person event for The Air and Space Power Association, in conjunction with the MOD. It was essential that the virtual conference was very secure for safety reasons, but everyone who registered was able to gain entry into the platform with ease. Provide a return on investment for sponsors and engaging both in-person and virtual audiences. To provide a platform where audiences can ask questions, and foster a sense of community through interactive experiences.

WHAT I DID:

Working alongside one of my favourite Production partners, Groovy Gecko, we built an entire conference website to provide a seamless and branded experience for attendees, including a welcome page, agenda, speakers, sponsors, networking facilities, and media hub. I managed the project from start to finish which included regular updates to the teams, onboarding of over 50 international speakers and their presentations, content creation, and delivered a unique audio-spatial networking and sponsor experience. Within the event, was a smaller event for 'International Space Pitch Day' which we had to embed within the conference seamlessly, which allowed audiences to see 10 minute pitches with presentations from around the globe, live, for a prize of £800,000 from the UK and US governments. The conference consisted of live and pre-recorded sessions, and featured an on-demand service post event.

RESULTS: The conference was a huge success with 651 registrations and 731 unique live viewers. I received positive feedback from the Air & Space Power Association and the Ministry of Defense for the high level of interaction and the branded experience of the online platform. I successfully managed the challenges of international speakers in different time zones and ensured a seamless connection between them, their hosts, and their presentations. The platform's interactive elements, such as the QR code for mobile app-based questions and the International Space Pitch Day, added to the overall success of the event and fulfilled the objectives of providing a memorable and engaging experience for all involved.
